About TroutQuest
From our base here we offer a wide variety of fly fishing holidays and short breaks (with or without accommodation), fly fishing instruction and custom guided excursions.
TroutQuest has leases or private arrangements for brown trout fishing on a number of excellent lochs locally, and in Caithness. Through SalmonQuestTM we manage the Novar Fishings on the River Alness and have extensive access to their salmon and sea-trout fishing. We also have access to rainbow trout fishing on a private lochan that we use primarily for teaching purposes. In addition, there are many fine day-ticket waters for salmon, sea trout and brown trout locally that we can use in combination to produce an experience that you will never forget.
Our location is also ideally situated to provide custom, guided fly fishing excursions for individuals or small groups of anglers throughout the counties of Ross-shire, Sutherland and Caithness.
Our holidays combine wonderful fly fishing in dramatic scenery, with high-quality accommodation, but our real differentiation is our service.
