Accommodation
Comfortable and appropriate accommodation is a key component of any great fishing holiday or short break, so we aspire to offer a range of choices to meet every requirement. For shorter visits, especially for individuals or couples, hotel accommodation may be the most appropriate. For longer stays, and for groups of family and/or friends, self-catered houses or cottages usually provide the best option, ensuring the most relaxed and social environment when not fishing. For large gatherings of family and friends or corporate customers, large hotels, country houses or sporting lodges can provide the capacity and facilities required to meet your needs.
SELF-CATERED HOLIDAY LETS
For 2008, we have two self-catered holiday houses available for letting with fishing:
Braemoray is a spacious and very comfortable modernised house set in the beautiful private grounds of Novar Estate close to the village of Evanton, just 20 minutes by car from Inverness - a perfect location from which to explore the Northern Highlands.
Braemoray, awarded 4 stars for quality by VisitScotland, is ideal for a family or a group of friends, and is available for rental from 2 days to 2 weeks. Braemoray sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms each with its own private bathroom.

Strone is a recently modernised holiday cottage ideal for visiting anglers situated as it is in a beautiful and remote setting on the banks of the River Alness.
Strone sleeps 4, in 2 x twin bedrooms, and is available in the spring, early summer and autumn for lets with or without fishing and from July to October packaged with salmon fishing on the River Alness.

HOTEL & GUEST HOUSE ACCOMMODATION
Below are brief descriptions of some of the hotels that we can recommend. We would be more than pleased to advise you further on any of the hotels mentioned below, and can make bookings for you on request.
The Novar Arms is a quiet village inn built around the 1850's serving the village of Evanton and the surrounding area. A family run business the Novar Arms prides itself in individual service and fine local cuisine. It is best suited to single anglers or small groups of anglers on short visits where pub accommodation can often be the most convenient. Pricing for B&B is £40 per person per night.

The Kincraig House Hotel is a superb, elegant country house hotel situated in its own grounds overlooking the Cromarty Firth. It has recently been refurbished to a very high standard, and has been awarded 4 stars by VisitScotland. The Kincraig House Hotel offers an excellent restaurant as well as bar meals, and is the perfect choice for corporate events or fishing and mixed activity parties looking for an element of indulgence in their accommodation.
B&B pricing is from £90 per night for single occupancy and £120 per night for double occupancy.

A little further afield, and situated in picturesque grounds outside the village of Contin, the Coul House Hotel is another excellent country house hotel awarded 3 stars by Visit Scotland and a member of 'Taste of Scotland'. The Coul House is ideally located for salmon fishing on the River Conon and its Blackwater tributary and for trout fishing in Strathconon.
Pricing for B&B is from £70 per night for single occupancy and £120 per night for double occupancy.
