2007 Season End
The salmon season on the River Alness closed on Wednesday 31st October. The last few days saw the first good water levels for the month resulting in a late surge of catches. It has been another excellent year on the Alness, with a total catch return for the Novar beats of 432 salmon & grilse. Of this total 312 were caught to our rods, including 21 first salmon, of which 65% were returned.
